This week sees new and notable appointments at Europcar Mobility Group Ireland, Byrne Wallace and Aramark Ireland. 


Karen McAdoo, Head of Marketing
Europcar Mobility Group Ireland

Europcar Mobility Group Ireland has announced the appointment of Karen McAdoo as the new Head of Marketing. In her role, Karen will be responsible for leading Europcar Mobility Group Ireland’s marketing strategy and eCommerce revenue performance of the company’s portfolio of car and van rental websites, including Europcar and GoCar.

As Head of Marketing for Ireland, Karen will work closely with the global Head Office in Paris to manage and coordinate all marketing activity across Ireland including pricing, sales, fleet operations and finance.

Prior to joining Europcar Mobility Group Ireland, Karen worked as a Senior EMEA Marketing Manager at Google in Ireland and was recently the interim Head of Channel Marketing at the tech company. Karen has over 10 years of experience in the marketing industry working across both the US and Ireland.

She holds a Bachelor of Business & Law from the University College Dublin and a MSC in Marketing from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Donal O’Donovan, Banking and Finance Partner

ByrneWallace LLP has announced Donal O’Donovan as a new partner with the firm’s Banking and Finance team.

Donal has over 16 years’ experience advising domestic and international financial institutions, non-bank lenders and borrowers (corporates and funds) on transactions including secured and unsecured lending transactions, acquisition finance, property finance, bilateral loans, syndicated loans and debt restructuring.

Donal also has particular expertise in fund finance including lending into QIAIF and other fund structures, particularly in the context of capital call and NAV facilities.

Tom Neville, President and CEO
Aramark Ireland

Aramark has announced the appointment of Tom Neville as President and CEO of Aramark Ireland, overseeing all operations for the business, inclusive of AVOCA.

As President and CEO, Tom will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all food and facilities management services across the organisation. He will lead the Aramark Ireland executive team with a key focus on delivering profitable growth, excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, building on the exceptional standards that have become synonymous with the brand in Ireland.

He will be dedicated to a customer centric approach to accelerating growth and managing productivity across Aramark Ireland. Tom is also committed to building a company culture that develops colleagues, fosters creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

Tom joined Aramark in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer for Aramark Northern Europe, where he was responsible for the financial operations of the entire organisation, providing strategic guidance to support the company’s overall business objectives.
