This week sees new and notable appointments at ESW, Mason Hayes & Curran and France Ireland Chamber of Commerce.

Tonia Luykx , Chief Revenue Officer
ESW

ESW, the international ecommerce leader headquartered in Dublin, has appointed Tonia Luykx as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the latest in a series of senior leadership hires to position the company for accelerated growth and international expansion.

Luykx brings over 20 years of experience building and leading international commercial teams for some of the world’s most respected technology companies. With deep knowledge and experience leading transformative change initiatives, she is well-positioned to harness the enormous growth potential in the international ecommerce industry. She most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Xeneta, the global freight intelligence and analytics platform. Before that, she served as Vice President of Global Sales and rose to CRO at AI-powered fraud and trust platform Sift. She also led commercial strategy for the UK and Ireland at Amazon Pay and held senior roles at Dropbox, Google, SAP and Microsoft.

As CRO, Luykx will be based out of ESW’s Dublin headquarters, reporting directly to CEO Eric Eichmann. Her appointment completes a strategic build-out of ESW’s executive leadership team, following a series of key hires made over the past two years to support the company’s long-term growth ambitions. In August 2023, Eric Eichmann was appointed CEO, with founder Tommy Kelly transitioning to Co-Chairman of the Board. Since then, ESW has made decisive moves to strengthen its senior team, expand into new verticals, and enhance its ability to serve global brands navigating the complexities of international direct-to-consumer (DTC) commerce.

Over recent months, Eoin Greene joined as Chief Technology Officer from CarTrawler, where he was Chief Product and Technology Officer and before that, CTO at CurrencyFair.com. With two decades of engineering leadership across fintech and travel technology, Greene brings extensive technical expertise to support ESW’s continued platform evolution.

Leadership additions in 2024 include Mark O’Neill, Chief Financial Officer, who joined in May from Boylesports and industry veteran Frank Kouretas as Chief Product Officer. Martin Tully, a long-time ESW leader, was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2024 to oversee global client delivery. Chief People Officer Sarah Keating also joined the company from Icon plc in 2023.

Tonia Luykx, Chief Revenue Officer, said:

“ESW is at a pivotal point in its growth story, and I’m delighted to be joining the business to help lead the transformation that will ensure the company’s long-term success. ESW has already established itself as a trusted partner to global brands, with a proven ability to simplify cross-border ecommerce and enable sustainable, direct-to-consumer expansion. What stands out is the strength of ESW’s platform, its impressive client roster, and the calibre of its people. I’m looking forward to working with the team to build on that strong foundation, further strengthen our client relationships, and accelerate our growth across markets and categories, ensuring that ESW is the next global tech success to come out of Ireland.”

Eric Eichmann, CEO of ESW, said:

“I’m excited to welcome Tonia into ESW. Tonia completes the outstanding new executive ESW leadership team, which will guide ESW through our next growth phase. She brings extensive experience in building and running successful global go-to-market organizations for enterprise B2B technology offerings. Her deep understanding of ecommerce, payments, and logistics makes her exceptionally well-positioned to support our clients as they navigate increasingly complex global markets. I’m confident she will have a significant impact as we expand into new verticals, grow our international footprint, and continue to build long-term value for our clients.”
