Host of big names announced for ceremony which recognises the achievements of Ireland’s financial services sector. An early bird ticket offer is available until 6 October.

Catalyst Media, organisers of the 2023 FS Awards (Financial Services) in association with KPMG, have announced the full list of finalists for Ireland’s 2nd annual Financial Services Awards.

The event takes place on Thursday, 26th October 2023, at the Round Room, the Mansion House, Dublin. Those in the running were meticulously chosen by a judging panel consisting of Ireland’s top financial services leaders.

All contenders are set to be recognised and celebrated for their contributions to the Irish financial sector over the past year at a ceremony which honours the brightest minds in finance and showcases innovation. It also provides opportunities to connect industry leaders from across Ireland.

First introduced in 2022, the ceremony, which has 16 categories, aims to expand on the success of last year’s awards with the addition of a number of new accolades, including: Fintech Team of the Year, Fintech Innovation Award, Fund Management Company of the Year, Fund Admin Company of the Year, Employee Experience Award and Sustainable Investment Award.

Leading Irish financial leaders and professionals will gather at the event to reaffirm the country’s position as a global financial services hub and provide inspiration, whilst highlighting Ireland as a unique gateway to Europe for global and local business.

Commenting on this year’s finalists, Tracey Carney, Managing Director of the FS Awards said: “We have seen such a fantastic array of candidates ahead of this year’s event and shortlisting finalists has been no easy task. I want to say thank you to all who applied and a big congratulations to this year’s finalists.

“The FS Awards are held to not only celebrate excellence in the financial sector but to inspire and galvanise the next generation of Irish financial leaders. It also provides ample opportunities for those in the financial services sector to share their ideas and connect with one another in a challenging economic landscape. All of those involved should be immensely proud of their accomplishments.”

Ian Nelson, Head of Financial Services, KPMG Ireland added: “KPMG is delighted to again support the annual FS Awards, and we eagerly await the awards ceremony on October 26th.

“With an exceptional array of submissions spanning the ten diverse categories, it’s a testament to Ireland’s well-deserved reputation as a prominent hub in the European financial services landscape and a preferred destination for numerous global finance enterprises. We look forward to honoring the outstanding achievements within Ireland’s Financial Services industry at this prestigious event.”
