The Spider Awards, Ireland’s longest-running digital awards programme, today announces the launch of its 29th ceremony, with entries officially opening. Celebrating nearly three decades of digital excellence, the awards spotlight the most innovative and creative work across Ireland’s digital industry.
Over nearly three decades, Ireland’s digital industry has grown into a dynamic sector, home to global players, start-ups, and creative talent. From e-commerce platforms and data-driven marketing campaigns to AI solutions, the expertise and ambition within the industry continue to set new benchmarks. The Spider Awards have proudly mirrored this journey, recognising the achievements of those who not only adapt to change but who drive it, championing established leaders and emerging talent, and providing a platform to showcase the outstanding achievements shaping the future of digital in Ireland and beyond.
This year introduces an exciting new category, the Digital Rising Star Award, which will honour an emerging talent in the digital industry aged 18–34. The award celebrates individuals demonstrating exceptional creativity, innovation, and impact early in their careers, with the potential to become future leaders in digital. Eligible nominees may be excelling in areas such as digital marketing, design, content creation, social media, or technology.
Speaking about the 2026 launch, Clare Kilmartin, COO of The Spider Awards, said: “As we approach our 29th year, The Spiders continue to evolve in step with Ireland’s fast-moving digital landscape. The introduction of the Digital Rising Star Award reflects our commitment to recognising the next generation of innovators—those who are already driving change and influencing the future of the industry. We look forward to celebrating both established leaders and fresh talent at this year’s event.”
Terry Spence, Director of B2B Sales at One4all, the headline sponsor of The Spiders 2026, said: “At One4all, we’re excited to once again partner with The Spider Awards for 2026. Innovation and creativity are at the heart of what drives the digital landscape forward, and we’re eager to see the incredible talent and new ideas that will shape the future of Ireland’s digital ecosystem. The Spiders continue to celebrate and recognise excellence, and we look forward to seeing how this year’s entries will raise the bar even higher.”
The Spider Awards 2026 will culminate in a black-tie gala dinner on Friday, 13th March 2026, in the iconic Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin, bringing together over 500 of Ireland’s digital leaders, innovators, and creators.
