The Business & Finance Awards, in association with KPMG Ireland, celebrated a ‘New Era of Excellence’ at Dublin’s Convention Centre on 12th April, with 1,000 of Ireland’s business, political and social leaders in attendance at the celebrations.

AIB wins ESG Award, sponsored by Coillte
AIB received the Environmental Social and Governance Award which was sponsored by Coillte, the state owned forestry business that manages approximately 7% of the country’s land.
“We are focused on delivering the multiple benefits of forestry”, said Imelda Hurley, CEO of Coillte. “When you have got a million acres under management … you’ve got to really think about environmental, social and governance and that is why when we try and bring it all together, ESG and sustainability is truly at the heart of Coillte”.
