What is it?

Engage is a full-service digital agency, headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with offices in London and Dublin. It provides expertise in the implementation and operation of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms, the systems integration and marketing capabilities needed to deliver digital success and transformation.

With almost 50 specialists in user experience design, graphic design, software development, digital marketing and business strategy, Engage collectively delivers digital transformation, embedding itself in its clients’ organisations as an extension of their teams.

Engage appeared in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 (13th) and was recognised as a Rising Star. Engage also won a number of esteemed industry awards from the Accenture Digital Media Awards, eir Spiders Awards and Episerver.

Who’s behind it?

The company is led by Steven Cassin (Managing Director) and Stephen Leathem (Commercial Director) in 2012. The pair have extensive experience in the digital industry, having worked together at various agencies for over 10 years. Prior to forming Engage, Cassin spent two years with digital marketing and e-commerce technology company Episerver working with some of the UK’s leading agencies and brands such as Sky, Virgin, Gatwick Airport, Liz Earle and Wex Photographic.

How is it funded?

Engage is a 100%-owned agency, which is self-financed.

Future plans?

Engage has even bigger plans for 2018, including moving to its newly-built offices in Belfast, a refinement of the brand, and expansion of its Graduate Academy. Engage achieved some outstanding results in 2017 with key clients such as Power NI, Permanent TSB, Eason and BNP Paribas.

Engage’s challenge is to continue to innovate in the delivery of its digital technologies, harnessing the ever-expanding range of digital marketing platforms and generally empowering and enabling clients to achieve digital success, achieving digital leadership in their marketplace.
