Business & Finance, in partnership with Ibec, launches Top 100 Companies Leading in Wellbeing Index 2026.

In recent years, employee wellbeing has continued to rise further up the agenda for employers. Public awareness of the importance of good workplace mental health and wellbeing is also growing. To move beyond good intentions and to realise a true culture of wellbeing, employers must make positive health and wellbeing a core business priority.

Clúid Housing

Clúid is a not-for-profit organisation with a vision of a society where everyone has a great place to live. Clúid achieves this through its mission of quality housing and services, which enables residents to create homes and thriving communities.

Clúid has over 390 employees to ensure that it has the capacity to meet this mission. To date, Clúid has provided over 14,000 affordable homes to low-income families and single people in housing need all over Ireland.

Coolmine TC

Established in 1973, Coolmine is a leading drug and alcohol treatment centre providing residential and community-based rehabilitation services across Ireland. As the first therapeutic community established in the country, Coolmine uses a peer-supported model to empower individuals to overcome addiction and successfully reintegrate into society. 

The organisation offers a holistic range of recovery supports, including Ireland’s only residential facility for mothers and their children, Ashleigh House. 

With a significant geographic presence in Dublin, the Mid-West, and the South-West, Coolmine supports over 1,500 individuals and their families annually.

Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ)

Córas Iompair Éireann (CIÉ) acts as a Holding Company for the CIÉ Group of Companies, which incorporates Irish Rail, Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann and CIÉ Tours. 

While not involved directly in the provision of services to the public, they employ approximately 170 office-based staff across five Dublin city locations.

They can also be used to help patients suffering from liver disease or recovering from surgery.

The Irish site is the main headquarters for non-US distribution of plasma-derived medications and functions as a logistics hub for biopharmaceuticals extracted from blood donated in the US, and operates an albumin plant. 

The product is stored in Dublin at -30°C before being quality assessed, packaged, and shipped to over 80 international markets. The Irish facility also has shared service operations supporting the biosciences division of Grifols Group and houses teams in logistics and supply chain, accounting, treasury, HR, finance, regulatory affairs and compliance, and customer service.


Health Products Regulatory Authority

The Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) regulates medicines and devices for the benefit of people and animals.
