Following the announcement that will almost double the online recruitment firm’s employees in Dublin, Indeed has been chosen as Business & Finance’s FDI of the Month for April 2019.

Indeed, the online recruitment site, has been in Ireland since 2012 and employs over 1000 people in the city already.

The announcement of the creation of 600 new roles at its Dublin-based headquarters for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) was made by Indeed CEO Chris Hyams at the company’s newly opened Capital Dock HQ, along with Heather Humphreys T.D., Minister for Business, Enterprise, and Innovation, Minister Mary Mitchell O’Connor T.D., Minister of State for Higher Education, and Martin Shanahan, CEO, IDA Ireland.

A history of Indeed

The recruitment site has been in operation since it was founded by Paul Forster and Rony Kahan in 2004. It has over 250 million unique visitors per month and is available in more than 60 countries and 28 languages. In Ireland since 2012, the company has grown considerably since its 230 employees in 2015.

CEO Chris Hyams was appointed just this month (April 2019) although he served as President of Indeed since October 2015 and Senior Vice President of Product prior to that.
