Ireland INC to launch the first ever Ireland INC Index at Ireland Day at the New York Stock Exchange in March 2018.

Dubbed by many as the ‘Irish Davos’, the Ireland Day Leadership Breakfast at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) offers an unrivalled platform for C-Suite conversations on economic engagement and thought leadership. Now in its eighth year, Ireland Day is the sole country day hosted by the New York Stock Exchange. The 2018 Leadership Breakfast and panel discussion will focus on the theme “Ireland INC: The Footprint and Future of Investment in the United States”.

This year, at the exclusive invite-only C-level event, Ireland INC will launch the first Ireland INC Index, a listing recognising the Irish companies investing in the US. This will be the first ever comprehensive index highlighting the top 50 Irish companies investing in the US by investment, employment and geographic span. Following its launch at the NYSE, the Index will be distributed globally to indexed companies and to US corporations investing in the United States.

With over 700 US companies investing over $200bn in Ireland through direct employment and Irish companies employing north of 125,000 people in North America, the value of our economic relationship has never been stronger.

The underlying goal of the Ireland INC Leadership Breakfast is to map creative strategies for participating attendees and provide a unique and organic platform for the creation of substantive business relationships.

Previous attendees and honourees at Ireland Day include; former Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD, Senator George Mitchell, Wilbur Ross, former mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg and Liam Neeson, to name but a few.
