Founded by Conor and James McCarthy, Flipdish saw the light of day in 2015. Flipdish provides restaurants and takeaways with an all-in-one digital ordering and management system. Its services include online ordering through custom websites and apps, a point-of-sale (POS) system, a kitchen display system, marketplace management, and marketing tools. This helps food businesses streamline operations, manage orders from various channels in one place, track performance, and increase direct sales.
Beginning with their first office in Ireland, they now count two other office locations in London, UK, and Karachi, Pakistan.
Since its creation, Flipdish has reached the unicorn status (valuation over $1bn).
Recently, Flipdish has announced the arrival of an AI phone agent. It will take multiple calls and orders simultaneously, handle orders and payments, handle queries, and provide recommendations, allowing staff to focus on other tasks.
The Flipdish AI Phone Agent is available now for restaurant and takeaway operators in the UK, Ireland, and select international markets.
