Let’s talk Solar, the Mullingar-based solar energy company that developed the world’s first and only award-winning solar-powered dual central heating and hot water system, has completed work on a 35-unit housing scheme on the Aran Islands, in a contract worth €175,000 for the business.
Speaking on completion of the project, Let’s talk Solar managing director, Michael Keane said: “At Let’s talk Solar, we are passionate about the development of sustainable energy efficiency. The project, which took just eight weeks to complete, involved retro-fit installation of solar hot water systems, boiler upgrades and heating control mechanisms.”
He continued: “As each central heating and hot water system installed is produced to a bespoke design that caters to the specific heating requirements of the individual customer, these latest installations are not only guaranteed to greatly improve the energy efficiency and B.E.R. of the 35 properties but go on to deliver significant annual cost savings for decades to come.”
Let’s talk Solar technology derives energy from daylight, rather than sunshine, making it particularly well-suited to Ireland’s climate.
