The launch of the CFO 100 Index 2025 will be celebrated with an event themed ‘NextGen Finance: The AI-Driven Future’ featuring a panel discussion exploring the changing fintech landscape.

The morning event will take place on 9 October 2025 from 8am – 10am at the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI), St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin and will include the following panelists Phil Watson, Open AI; Patricia O’Neill, Chartered Accountants Ireland; Aine Nolan, Microsoft and Brian Hanly, Brightbeam. It will be moderated by Ciara Close, Senior Engagement Manager, Growth & Innovation, Sia.

This year’s CFO 100 Index, in association with Sia, will be published during the event which will welcome CFOs, finance leaders, and AI visionaries to explore the seismic shift happening in the world of accounting and finance. As Generative AI rapidly changes how organisations analyse, forecast, and report, this event equips you with the tools and insights needed to lead the transformation.

Ciara Close, Sia, said: “Sia are proud to continue our partnership with Business & Finance on the CFO100 2025. This collaboration recognises the finance leaders setting the standard for excellence, building confidence in their organisations and momentum in the wider economy.”

Attendees will discover cutting-edge GenAI applications in finance and learn directly from AI pioneers, CFOs, and technology experts. There will be opportunities to network with executive peers driving digital finance and take away actionable strategies to future-proof your finance function.

Close noted: “As optimists for change, Sia sees AI as one of the defining forces reshaping finance, and Ireland as a global testbed at the crossroads of EU regulation and US multinationals, balancing innovation with compliance. That combination puts Irish-based CFOs at the centre of the global AI conversation about how to unlock AI’s true potential in finance.”
