Mason Hayes & Curran has announced the appointment of ten new partners in the firm’s Dispute Resolution, Competition, Real Estate, Corporate, Employment and Privacy & Data Security teams. The firm now has 90 partners and nearly 500 staff in its offices in Dublin, London, New York and San Francisco.

Commenting on the appointments, Declan Black, Managing Partner, Mason Hayes & Curran, said “It’s always a pleasure to welcome new partners. Premier Lotteries Ireland

Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI), the operator of the National Lottery, announced the appointment of Andrew Algeo as Chief Executive Officer. This follows a search process to replace Dermot Griffin who announced earlier in the year his intention to step down. It is anticipated that Andrew will take up the role on June 17, 2019.

Mr Algeo, 48, has had an accomplished career in business and was, until recently, adviser at Ryanair where he oversaw a commercial reorientation programme. He is also part of the group advising the Department of Justice on its current transformation. He was previously Managing Director of Commercial & Risk at Paddy Power.

Duff & Phelps, the global advisor that protects, restores and maximises value for clients, announced the appointment of Mark Synnott as Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Advisory Group (REAG) in Ireland, based in Dublin. Mark will strengthen the existing real estate advisory services practice and build a commercial real estate valuation team focusing on loan security valuations, portfolio valuations and associated real estate advisory services.

CDB Aviation, a wholly owned Irish subsidiary of China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Limited, announced the new executive appointments to its Asia team: Sign Kadouh took the position of Head of Commercial, Asia Pacific and Nick Seah assumed the role of Head of Commercial, Greater China & North Asia.

Sign Kadouh, who assumed the position of Head of Commercial, Asia Pacific, has been instrumental over the past two years in building a strong and sustainable customer base across the region, further emboldening CDB Aviation’s pedigree among Asia’s leading airlines.

Kadouh joined CDB Aviation in February 2017 as Senior Vice President, Commercial, becoming part of the lessor’s commercial team based in Hong Kong. Kadouh has more than a decade of experience in aviation finance and legal, and has spent nearly a decade of his career working in Asia. Prior to CDB Aviation, Kadouh served as Vice President, Legal, at International Lease Finance Corporation and AerCap (post the 2014 acquisition).
