A nominee for the coveted Elevation Award, in association with Enterprise Ireland, LearnUpon’s cloud-based learning management system (LMS) is transforming how organisations deliver, track and report on training.

LearnUpon was established in 2012 and has over 260 employees across ten locations around the world including Dublin, Belgrade, Philadelphia, Salt Lake City, and Sydney. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, the cloud-based LMS company has seen strong growth in revenue and customer numbers in recent years.

LearnUpon has grown strongly over the last 11 years from a 2 person start-up with a handful of customers paying $99 a month to a global business today with over 1,400 customers worldwide, including many of the world’s leading organisations such as PING, Twilio, USA Football and The Adecco Group.

Training

CEO Brendan Noud leads the cloud-based learning management system (LMS) used by customers to deliver, track and report on training. It is mainly focused on online learning but also tracks classroom-based training. LearnUpon is used to train both internal (employees) and external audiences (customers, partners, resellers). Other organisations that use LearnUpon include sporting bodies who use the product to train volunteers and coaches and professional bodies who use it to deliver member training.

The platform features include a testing and survey engine, awarding certificates, gamification, discussion forums, eCommerce, reporting, productised integrations with Salesforce, Hubspot, Slack, Zoom, MS Teams, LinkedIn Learning, Personio and more.

Vision

The company’s vision is to deliver the right learning to the right people at the right time and has established itself as a leading LMS globally in what is a very crowded space (over 1,000 learning platforms globally). Their success comes from strong sales and marketing, an excellent product and a world-class customer experience team who manage the post sale experience from implementation, ongoing customer success and 24/7 customer support.

Products

LearnUpon has recently introduced new product offerings including LearnUpon Anywhere, LearnUpon Content Foundations and Easy Generator Authoring Tool, all of which help the company deliver on their vision to deliver the right learning to the right people at the right time.

LearnUpon Anywhere is a new embedded learning product allowing customers to deliver learning in 3rd party applications and websites removing the need for learners to log into the LMS which has been enthusiastically received by prospects and customers. A leading quick service restaurant chain in the US is using this new offering to deliver online learning to over 260,000 deskless employees.

CSR

LearnUpon’s CSR initiatives include the introduction of a volunteering day this year with teams spending time volunteering with organisations such as food preparation with the St. Vincent De Paul, Dining Hall in Salt Lake City and Ekonaut in Belgrade where the team helped with weeding, planting and painting a herb garden for an elementary school. Their Dublin team volunteers with the Irish Cancer Society and Friends of Grand Canal.

Under its CSR initiatives LearnUpon also supports organisations who are focused on  providing education and learning opportunities to children and adolescents including CoderDojo in Ireland, Coded By Kids in Philadelphia and Rails Girls in Belgrade.

LearnUpon’s workplace team promotes a green focus across all offices including recycling, energy saving and a bike-to-work scheme. They also run a health & wellness programme (LUPWell) which was recently a finalist in the Diversity in Tech Awards.
